Yes, you can purchase a Gift of Hope for yourself or on behalf of someone special whether or not you sponsor a child or have ever donated to Plan. |

Some individual gift items may change during the year but Gifts of Hope will be available throughout the year and make excellent choices for any occasion. |

Do you guarantee to direct my money to the gift I’ve chosen? |

Yes. The money collected towards a particular Gift of Hope gets sent to fund the community project it supports. In the unlikely event that money raised exceeds what is required, funds will be used to support similar activities for children and communities in need. |

How do the gifts of farm animals work? |

When you purchase a farm animal through our Gifts of Hope programme, the funds are channelled to a livestock programme that aims to reduce poverty through livestock productivity. For example, $600 for a goat boosts the budget of that programme enough to provide one more goat for one more family. This programme goes beyond the simple provision of animals to families identified as being in need to include training, construction of animal shelters, breeding assistance and access to veterinary supplies and drugs. |

Yes – whether you buy a gift in your own name or on behalf of someone else, you can request a receipt for government tax reduction. |

How do I know what’s in my shopping cart?

Gifts added to your shopping cart are listed at the bottom of the Shopping details box to the right. As well you can click on the “View my shopping cart” orange button located on the left side of your screen to view all the items you have added to your shopping cart. Each gift amount will be listed as well as a total cost of all items. |
